As the leading cancer authority in NSW, it was essential for the Cancer Institute NSW to maintain a strong and consistent brand to ensure recognition and support from their stakeholders. Consistent branding also positioned the Institute to deliver clear, concise, and reliable information about cancer across various formats and styles.

Using updated brand guidelines along with the Institute’s sub-brands and brand hierarchy, a broad range of internal and external communications were developed to align with the brand in both print and digital media. Complex reports and key marketing materials received a branding refresh to improve readability and emphasize significant achievements and statistics.

To handle the large volumes of data effectively, infographics were introduced, allowing information to be shared in a visually engaging and succinct way, which significantly enhanced comprehension and understanding. Our work has focused on creating and applying a clear visual communication style, designed to engage diverse audiences and deliver clear, accessible health messaging.
